An alleged member of a Hells Angels support club was arrested in Southwestern Ontario as part of a police crackdown on the outlaw motorcycle gang.
Stratford police arrested Sherwin Anthony “AJ” Jhingoree, 39, on Jan. 11, said OPP Insp.-Det. Scott Wade, the head of the biker enforcement unit.

Investigators from the biker enforcement unit searched a Brampton home on Jan. 11, seizing a shotgun, a rifle, two imitation handguns, components to make handguns and cellphones. Officers also seized four One Order motorcycle club vests – two of them for London chapter members – including one with ballistic panels embedded in it, police said.
Wade said it wasn’t clear whether Jhingoree is a member of the London chapter or the another chapter, noting membership in the One Order is “fluid.”
Jhingoree is charged with multiple gun-related offences and breaching a release order. He was scheduled to appear in a Brampton court Wednesday.
The One Order is a one-percent motorcycle club – a term used to distinguish the outlaw clubs from law-abiding motorcycling enthusiasts – that serves as a support club to the Hells Angels.
The One Order’s Facebook page shows photographs of men wearing the club’s vests posing with alleged members of the Hells Angels, including some London members.

“They are friendly with the Hells Angels. They are associated with the Hells Angels, but not a puppet club,” Wade said of the One Order.

Puppet clubs are fully under the control of the mother club and don’t make independent decisions, like the Red Devils to the Hells Angels or the Black Pistons to the Outlaws, while support clubs operate more independently.
Outlaw motorcycle clubs have a long and violent history in the London region, where police have warned the groups are increasingly moving into smaller communities to carry out drug- and weapons-trafficking activities traditionally seen in larger cities.
In July, alleged members of the Outlaws motorcycle club were among a dozen people charged as part of Project Derailleur, a seven-month investigation into an alleged biker-led drug trafficking ring in Southwestern Ontario that led to the seizure of guns, biker gear, seven ounces of cocaine and other drugs.
In the most recent bust, Peel regional police also assisted in the investigation, said Wade, whose joint forces unit is made up officers from 21 law-enforcement agencies from across Ontario.
“We wouldn’t be as successful as we are without the partnerships,” Wade said.
