Van Helsing's spirits are high despite the fact that twenty-one boxes are missing.

In Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, Van Helsing mentions several limitations that Count Dracula has as a vampire: Vulnerable to sunlight: Dracula cannot withstand direct exposure to sunlight, which weakens and eventually destroys him.
